We had the honor of being the plus-one to three adorable siblings,
Myla Millie & Maverick back in November.
Their parents got married at Rivercrest farm in Dover, Ohio on a gorgeous fall day.
This venue is nestled between sloping hills and loaded with picturesque scenery. It’s centrally located between Cleveland, Columbus and Pittsburgh. Perfect private farm area, but close enough to hotels and inns and plenty of activities for the wedding guest.
We picked up Myla and Millie first from a hotel near the venue to transport them like VIPs to the wedding.
The girls were so eager to start their day.
Myla is 4 and Mille is 2, both very energetic pups.
The venue itself is a beautiful farm tucked away in the hills and loaded with so many beautiful animals. From donkeys, to horses, to sheep and even highland cattle!
The girls were so intrigued by all the animals and we respectfully met each of them and walked the grounds for quite the sniffari. The girls were able to get so much exercise in before the festivities started.
Their brother Maverick, 5 years old, arrived a little later with his wonderful sitter who watches him throughout the week.
Prior to the wedding and after she had already booked, Maverick suffered an injury which left him paralyzed and needing to use a wheelchair.
Sydney, Mavericks' incredible mother, wanted to make sure we were able to accommodate Mav into the entire day with the help of his sitter who knew his routine.
This was a no brainer and the easiest yes.
There was no way we weren’t including Maverick. This boy was clearly her soul dog, and we made sure this happy boy wasn’t left out of anything.
The girls were so excited when Maverick arrived. They ran to him and smothered him with kisses. The three of them are an incredibly bonded pair and adore each other.
We then got the Millie and Myla dressed in beautiful faux flower collars, and a special bowtie for Mav.
The kids then patiently waited for mom to come out and do a first look with them before she got in her wedding dress.
Wagging tails all around!
After the first look, we took water breaks and explored the venue a little more. The kids loved the horses in the stable at the venue and the horses were just as eager to see them. We fed the horses carrots and it was the sweetest thing to witness the curiosity of each other.
Sydney & Michael had their ceremony up on the hilltop overlooking the hills and woodlands at sunset.
We took the kids up there to do a practice walk and they were obviously naturals.
They were comfortable and ready for the ceremony.
Time came, and the three of them were the official guest greeters on top of the hill when the guest arrived on tractors. The girls thought this was wild and definitely let off a few barks in excitement. Guest got off and immediately went to see them with plenty of pets and fun stories to tell us about them. We love to hear the love of these dogs not only from the owners, but all their family and friends too.
After this, it was time, and they were super excited. The bridal party lined up, including Millie,Myla & Maverick at the end.
FairyTail Pet Care walked Millie and Myla down first, shortly followed by Maverick and his sitter.
The three of them did awesome, and they managed to stay up front the entire ceremony
They even let out a few barks during the “I Do” because they obviously wanted everyone to know they did too!
When they walked back up the aisle, bubbles were blown in the air making it super adorable to watch them walk thru in awe.
Not only were these guys in the ceremony, but they had a grand entrance into the reception as well.
The three of them were introduced with mom and dad and walked in as if the entire party was for them (and we definitely told them it was!)
They even had specialty cocktails named after them for everyone to enjoy.
“The dogs are barking”
…literally we were exhausted from an entire day of festivities.
So kisses & hugs from mom and dad were had and the three parted ways back to their hotel for a good nights rest.
They all agreed Best Day Ever and beyond thankful for parents who included them because they are family too.
Does your pet need a plus-one to your Pittsburgh, PA area wedding?
Meet The Owners!
Heather and Bethany are sisters and huge dog lovers. Heather adopted a coonhound mix named Waylon and Bethany adopted two German Shepard mixes named Bear and Marshall as well as a cat named Bowie. Both have been very active in the rescue community over the years and were foster failures.
Heather worked as an OB nurse and Bethany in Quality Assurance after both graduating from Florida State University. When Heather got married in 2019, she hired Fairytail Pet Care in Tampa and knew at the moment the handlers walked into the venue with her beloved pups, that she wanted to be a part of such a brilliant company. There was no one else more perfect to join her in this journey than Bethany, an avid dog lover.
When they aren’t taking dogs to weddings, you can find them running in half and full marathons, boating, and being outdoors as much as possible.
